1.Why will show attendees download and use this app?

The app revolves around a massive multiplayer real world game. The game is different for every show, but the exciting surprises, freebies and chances to win amazing prizes prove a huge incentive to downloading and using the app.

Additionally, the app includes some helpful tools to optimize the show experience.

Live, real-time maps help attendees quickly and easily find their way around the show.

Location aware scheduling with timely alerts ensures attendees arrive with plenty of time to spare for your booth demos. Since the app knows where attendees are on the floor, no matter how far away from you booth they are, they won’t miss out.

2.How will show attendees find out about this app?

Prior to the show, online, email and traditional marketing campaigns in conjunction with the show operators will ensure that the app receives maximum exposure.

Upon arrival to the show, attendees will be greeted with billboards, banners and post-cards promoting the game and the prizes to be won.

Additionally, there will be an on site team sharing the benefits and opportunities to attendees as they arrive, complete with a help desk kiosk for those with questions or who require assistance downloading and installing the app.

3.What devices are compatible with this app?

The most popular Android and iOS devices are all compatible with the Airalytics platform. This includes devices such as:

iOS devices with Bluetooth 4.0 (iPhone 4S and later, iPad (3rd generation) and later, iPad Mini (1st generation) and later, iPod Touch (5th generation).

Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.3 and later (Samsung Galaxy S3/S4/S5/S4 Mini, Samsung Galaxy Note 2/3, HTC One, Google/LG Nexus 7 (2013 version)/Nexus 4/Nexus 5, HTC Butterfly (aka Droid DNA). and Moto G

Devices do require Bluetooth LE to be turned on, as it is this technology that enables our maps to generate accurate real time positioning indoors.

4.Do attendees require data to use this app?

Yes. The app requires a data connection to download the show manifest, which includes the maps, exhibitor info, game data, exclusive show deals and more. This initial download will be optimized for quick delivery, after which users may enjoy benefits of the app with very little data requirements. 

Once winners have been selected, attendees must once again connect via data to determine if they are in fact one of the winners.

5.How much will this app cost?

Good news! The Airalytics Show App is FREE and available for download at Apple iTunes and Google Play.

6.Does Airalytics capture personal information of attendees?

Everyone using the Airalytics platform is anonymous. The app generates a unique id for each attendee and does not transmit names, email addresses, phone numbers or personally identifiable data to Airalytics servers.

Certain AirPods provide exhibitors with the opportunity to request an attendees email address, but this requires explicit permission.

Depending on the show, the app may ask the attendees to provide some general demographic information about themselves.

Prizes won in the contest require the phone owner to provide their name and contact information for prize redemption.

7.Will Airalytics share personal information about attendees?

No, since Airalytics doesn’t capture personal information, we couldn’t even if we wanted to.

8.How do AirPods work? Do they require WiFi?

AirPods™ use Bluetooth LE (low energy) to emit a unique signal at set intervals. The signal is unidirectional so phones are never sending information to the AirPods™ or creating any kind of network with the AirPods™. As attendees come into range, the app detects the AirPod™ and launches any number of predefined engagement tools. Bluetooth LE ensures phone battery life is not compromised.

9.What is an AirPod?

AirPods are 3.5″ devices that send out unidirectional pulses to attendees as they experience the show. AirPods allow the Show App to provide live, real time maps which function in the same way your car GPS, triangulating signals, and accurately positioning the user, but in an interior space.

10.What is the range of an AirPod?

The standard range is about 20 meters, but depending on the size of the booth, an AirPod can be configured using a number of parameters to require increased or decreased proximity before an engagement tool is activated.

11.Can I reuse my AirPod for next year?

AirPods have a refundable deposit to encourage exhibitors, vendors and OEMs to return their AirPod at the end of the show. If you wish, you may hold onto your AirPod for the next show.

12.Are there discounts for multiple shows?

Absolutely, ask us – we’ll make a deal you can’t refuse.

13.Is this going to make my life more difficult?

Nope!

We do all the hard work. Including, customize your AirPod according to the various engagement tools you’ve selected.

We will send you an Airalytics Welcome Kit which includes your AirPod and simple One-Step instructions. Namely, you need to place your AirPod in your booth for the duration of the show.

Since the AirPod does not have wires, does not require Internet connection, does not require any configuration and doesn’t even have an On/Off switch, you can effortlessly enjoy the show, and interact with your visitors in much the same way you always have.
